 Aanakulam - Paradise of elephant 

This is an experience, not merely a trip. One who wants to embrace nature as it is like staying amidst the jungle in a tent stay, hearing chirping birds and flowing waterfalls and streams beside our campsite all day during this monsoon would give them a rich experience. 

General Information :

• Trip Location      - Aanakulam which is located 40 kilometers to Munnar in southwest direction 
• Trip Date             -July 20 and 21 
• Trip Charge        - Rs.4200 Per head.
• Trip Category     - non trekking trip 
• Trip age criteria  -Anyone can participate  from kids 3 yrs above to senior citizens who can walk better  
• Staying option    - Tent stay 2/3 sharing basis.
• Group size          - 14 /22 People per trip
• Transportation     - Pick and drop Dindigul, Vatalagundu.
• Transport vehicle- 21 seater mini non-AC bus / 14 seater tempo traveler.

Itinerary :

Tentative schedule :

Day 1

• 5:00 AM -  Pick up from Dindigul Railway station.
• 5:15 AM -  Pick up from the Dindigul Bus stand.
• 5:30 AM - Pick up from Palani Bypass Road and 
• 6:00AM -  Depart to Munnar after refreshments in the bakery shop near Karur bypass road  
• 8:30AM-  Breakfast at Theni (self-sponsored)
• 10:30AM - Lockhart Gap Road's  Chinnakanal Waterfalls view 
• 11:30 AM - Devikulam tea plantation viewpoint.
• 12:30 PM -  lunch at Munnar (included in the package )
• 1:30 PM -   Start the journey to Aanakulam.
• 3:30 PM - Reach Anakulam after stopping at a beautiful place on the way  and the jeep will take us to our campsite 
• 4:00 PM - Elephant spotting place and Reach our campsite.
• 5:00 PM -  After Tent allocation and refreshment. visit to Private waterfalls near our campsite 
• 6:30 PM -  return to the campsite, Fun activities, talent show, storytelling 
• 8:00 PM -  Dinner (included in the package)
• 9:30 PM -  Campfire depends on rain.
• 10:30PM- Sleep well under the tent and hear the waterfalls in the jungle.

( The elephant spotting places is just 2 km away  our campsite . If any group of elephants spotted in midnight  and, we will bring our people to elephant spotting place through jeep)

Day 2

• 6:30 AM - wake up and refreshment 
• 7:30 AM - breakfast (included in the package)
• 8:30AM - starts Jeep ride adventure and sightseeing.

Places we will cover in the jeep ride are 

• Anakulam check dam, 
• check dam source waterfall closer view 
• Off-road ride to tribal settlement 
• Perumbankuthu waterfalls plunging view from above  (can't bath over there)
• Perumbankuthu river crossing depends on stream currents
• Hanging bridge visit
• Mighty 33 waterfalls (can bath)

Return to campsite 

• 1:30PM - lunch at the campsite (included in the package )
• 2:30 PM - Check out the Campsite 
• 3:00 PM- jeep leave us in our vehicle and start to return journey to dindigul.
• 8:00 PM - dinner ( self sponsored)
• 9:30 - drop at vatalagundu bus stand 
• 10:30 - drop at Dindigul bus stand

Package inclusion and exclusion :

Inclusion 

• Pick and drop NON A/C transportation from Dindigul 
• 4 times food (Saturday 2 times lunch(veg/non veg) and dinner (veg /non veg), Sunday  2 times breakfast  and lunch(veg/non veg) -
• Sightseeing entry charg
• TTC 's trek lead assistance 
• Sightseeing places as mentioned in itinerary 
• Tent stay and campfire 
• Private water falls visit 
• Jeep charges.

Exclusion :

• Saturday breakfast and Sunday Dinner not included.
• Extra distance travel for pick up and drop than the designated place.
•  Foods , Snacks and refreshments buying outside during travelling
• Special charges for camera , drone or any material if specified .
• Any adventurous activity which incurring cost on places of sight seeing other than entry fees not included .
• Other than what we mentioned is not included .

Things to carry:

• Fresh pairs of clothes for 2 days (Preferable one pair tracks and t-shirts for water activities ). Wrap your dress with plastic cover before placed inside the bag .
• Grip shoes (Highly recommended)
• Strong back pack- water proofed
• Water bottle  (Highly recommended)
• Leech shocks or detol or salt
•  solution or hand sanitizer  (Highly recommended) 
• Rain coat (highly recommended )
• Toiletries
• Torch with new batteries 
• Energy foods (chocolate bars, electrolyte, glucose ) (Optional)
• Power banks.
• Blanket (optional )

• Charging station inside the campsite 
• Pillow and blanket 
• Clean  toilets.
• Dinning area .

Booking Procedure :

A slot can be booked by paying the total amount of the trip. If payment is made Online screenshot is necessary to send to the number we have provided in the trip poster.

Cancellation policies :

• Cancelling in between 2 days before the trip starts (48hrs) - no refund.
• Cancelling in between 4th day and to 2nd day before the trip starts- 25% will be refunded.
• Cancelling between 7th day and 4th day before the trip starts - 80% refund

Carry forward the cancelled trip amount can be considered for the next trip.

All the itineraries and schedules is subject to outer circumstances such as weather conditions, traffic, and any government restrictions on the spot or during the travel, in such cases management has the all rights to call off or change the itinerary if possible.
