 Kodachadri -Hidlumane falls trek

General Information:

• Trek Name - Kodachadri - Hidlumane falls trek
• Trek date - June 15 ,16 (saturday and Sunday).
• Trek Location- Kodachadri, Karnataka (420 km from Bangalore,80 km from Udupi)
• Trek charge- Rs. 4,750 / Person
• Trek category - Moderate level category
• Trek distance - Total 11 trek (one-sided trek only) , 11 km Return trek via off-road jeep 
• No of days - 2 nights 2 days.
• Staying Option - Dorm stay for separate males and females.
• Group size - 14 /21 people
• Transport vehicle - 14 seater tempo Traveller / 21 seater coach mini bus

Itinerary:

Tentative Schedule

Day 1 (Friday)

• 8:30 PM - Pick up from Majestic 
• 9:10 PM  - Pick up from Yeshwantpur
• 9:20 PM  - Starts overnight journey to Kodachadri 

Day 2 (Saturday)

• 7:00 AM - Reach our homestay near the base village Kattinhole
• 8:30 AM - After freshening up and having breakfast start our trek from the check post (A separate advance of 100 Rupees bill will be made on each plastic water bottle carried in check post, Such amount can be redeemed at the end by returning the bill as showing the water bottle we taken inside ).
• 9:45 AM - Reach the Kumble village before the Hidlumane waterfalls, the route taken us through a paddy field after long hours trek in thick dense canopy forest
• 10:00 AM - Chill ourselves under 70-80 feet height waterfalls.
• 11:00 AM - Starts trek towards Kodachadri peak via thick forest and off-road jeep track before reach the Goddess Mookambika temple.
• 2:00PM - Reach the top and have the packed lunch.
• 3:00 PM- start the return journey via jeep 
• 5:00 PM - reach our homestay, freshening ourselves and having evening snacks 
• 6:00 PM - playing games /small walk nearby.
• 7:30 PM - Dinner and campfire (depends on rain)
• 11:00PM- sleep in the respective dorm beds.

Day 3 (Sunday)

• 7:30 AM - Breakfast in our home stay.
• 9:00AM - Depart to Nagara Fort.
• 9:45AM - Reach Nagara Fort and spend some time 
•  11:00AM - depart to Bangalore.
• 1:30 PM - Self-sponsored Lunch on the way.
• 2:45 PM- move towards Bangalore .
• 9:00 PM -  Reaches Yeshwantpur
• 9:30PM - Reaches Majestic and ends it with Tonnes of memories.

• Other than what we mentioned is not included  .

Things to carry:

• Fresh pairs of clothes for 2 days (Preferable one pair tracks and t-shirts for trek).
• Grip shoes for trek (Highly recommended )
• Strong back pack- water proofed (Highly recommended)
• Water bottle (minimum 2 lit capacity) (Highly recommended)
• Leech shocks (Highly recommended)
• Rain coat highly recommended 
• Empty Lunch box .
• Toiletries
• Torch with new batteries 
• Energy foods (chocolate bars, electrolyte, glucose ) (Optional)
• Power banks
• Mini 2/3 lit bag to carry trek essential during the trek 

Note:- Don't carry single use plastic (for eg: Chocolates, Chips, Water bottles etc ) items during the trek. There will be a thorough checking in the check post and if found, There will be a penalty.

Booking Procedure :

A slot can be booked by paying the total amount of the trip. If payment is made Online screenshot is necessary to send to the number we have provided in the trip poster.

Cancellation policies :

• Cancelling in between 2 days before the trip starts (48hrs)         - no refund.
• Cancelling in between  4th day and to 2nd day before the trip starts- 25% will be refunded.
• Cancelling between 7th day and 4th day before the trip starts - 80% refund

Carry forward the cancelled trip amount can be considered for the next trip.

All the itineraries and schedules is subject to outer circumstances such as weather conditions, traffic, and any government restrictions on the spot or during the travel, in such cases management has the all rights to call off or change the itinerary if possible. 

We cannot expect luxury out of the adventurous trek and the stay in a remote village and we will ensure the safety of our people during stay and trekking
