General information:

Trek name            -  Vellagavi village trek.

Trek Location       - Vattakanal ,Kodaikanal.

Trek level             - Moderate to lower difficult level

Trek distance        - 14 KM (up and down)

No of days            -  2 days 1 night 

Staying option      - Tent stay(2/3 sharing basis)

Pick up and Drop  - Dindigul 

Itinerary:

Day 1 (Saturday)

5:30 AM    -  Depart from dindugul busstand (pick up point dindugul railway station, busstand ,Palani byepass road )

6:30Am     -  Breakfast * at vatalagundu eden garden hotel 

11:30AM   - Reach Vattakanal check post Get down from the vehicle & walk for a kilometre to reach the trek start point.

12:00PM   - starts trek, spends some time at dolphin nose viewpoint

2:30PM     - Reach the campsite and lunch* 

3.00PM     -Tent Allocation and feels the presence.

4:30PM     -Trek to village visit.(1.5 km one sided).

5:15PM     - reach the Vellagavi village, meet the village people and explore.

7.00PM     - Return to campsite 

7.45PM     -Dinner veg/non-veg *

8:30PM     -Campfire (fun activities, common sharing stories, group singing etc )

10:30PM   - star gazing and sleeping in a tent.

Day 2 (Sunday)

5:15AM    - Wake-up call 

5:45AM    - Sunrise hike (1 km one-sided into the deep jungle)

6:15AM    - Reach the sunrise point, Spending quality time watching all the stages of sunrise.

7:15AM    - Return to the campsite.

8:30AM    - Breakfast *

9:30AM    - Start return trek to Vattakanal after refreshing ourselves

1:00PM     -Reach Vattakanal and start walking to Vattakanal check post to our vehicle meanwhile spend some time in Pambar waterfalls.

2:00PM     - lunch at Jacob Kitchen veg/non-veg* and shopping.

4:00PM     - Return journey to dindugul 

10:00PM     - Dinner at Dindigul (not included in the package). time to leave with a mind full of memories and a bag full of dirt clothes.

Inclusion:

Exclusion:

•  second-day dinner not included.
• special entry charges for the camera if demanded.
• purchasing other than what we listed in the hotel on the second-day lunch

• If additional cost incurred for other that SETC bus transportation.

Additional Transportation booking arrangements anywhere from your places to dindugul and return will be done on request with additional payment .

Foods we Arranged:

• Poori/chappathi with chicken gravy and veg gravy, veg biriyani.

2nd day breakfast 

• Idly sambar/chutney 

2nd day Lunch at Jacob's kitchen.

   

 For veg 

• Unlimted full meals (kootu/poriyal,sambar, Vatha kolabu /Kaara kolambu,rasam,curd)
• Gobi Manchurian

For non-veg

• Unlimited chicken meals or fish meals (chicken pieces with gravy or gravy fish pieces with gravy,Vatha kolabu /Kaara kolambu,rasam,curd )
• Omlet.

Note:- 1st day breakfast and 2nd-day dinner not included.

Booking Procedure :

A slot can be booked by paying 50% of the total trip charge. If payment is made Online screenshot is necessary to send to the number we have provided in the trip poster. ( 7094061960 )

Balance amount is to be paid one day before the trip.

Cancellation policies :

• Cancelling in between 2 days before the trip starts (48hrs)         - no refund.
• Cancelling in between  4th day and to 2nd day before the trip starts- 60% will be refunded.
• Cancelling before the 4th day from the commencement of the trip - full refund
